This work is a hopeful piece calling for the reunification kids with their families. The story of kids being stripped away from loved ones is the continuation of xenophobic policies pointedly enacted by this current administration. The inhumane treatment of people seeking refuge is a sad state for our country but there is ultimately hope because of all the people opposed to these practices. #keepfamiliestogether
