I am offering two new classes at Huntington Beach Art Center this winter term. Each class is 5 weeks long and focuses on painting with Acrylics.

Intro to Acrylics #150135-4A

January 10th to February 7th 2017.  Tuesday evenings 6:00pm to 7:45pm

The course is designed to introduce the basic elements of acrylic painting. All skill levels are welcome. All students will explore the many ways paint can be handled through demonstrations and observation based painting. Instruction will be given on preparation of materials, explore color, light, texture, transparency, composition, and technique.

Intermediate Acrylic  #150152-4A

February 21 to March 21st. 2017   Tuesday evenings 6:00pm to 7:45pm

The course is designed to explore advanced techniques in acrylic painting with an emphasizing on color theory, glazing, and mixed media work. Students will work with the instructor to set up personal project goals for the term.
